Every Halloween we invite staff and students to wear their fun costumes! Student may wear their costumes to school BUT there are a few guidelines that we ask students to follow.

• Hats: If a hat is part of the costume, it will be allowed.
• Students must be able to sit, walk, breathe, see and hear! (masks that cover the entire head/face must be taken in school and on the bus.)
• Costumes cannot promote the use of drugs, alcohol, or weapons of any kind.
• No pretend “prop” weapons such as water pistols, knives, or swords.
• No fake blood or full-face make-up/face paint. Face paint must be applied at home and left at home.
  
• All school rules and transportation (bus) rules will be enforced. Teachers may use their discretion if costumes become a distraction.
• No inflatable costumes.
• Costumes may not be offensive or inappropriate in any way.

We are closing in on the craft fair, Saturday November 2nd! Thank you all for your support and donations with this. There are a few spots left! We are still in need of hotdogs and soda! (Any variety but Pepsi, someone already signed up for that!) Anything helps -- If we don't get the items donated, I will buy them for us and it will come out of our profits. Here's the link one more time!

Fall is a beautiful time to explore the five communities of RSU 18! This template provides ideas of both easy and moderate hikes/walks in each of our school district's towns, plus some other wonderful outdoor adventure spots in our great state of Maine. Staff and students who complete 5 hikes will receive a sticker with the "Take a hike" logo.

Forms must be turned into the CMS Office by November 15.
