Streamline Service at GHS
Looking for a safe, reliable way to get your student to and from school? Streamline’s zero-fare bus system might be your best answer. Students can take the Brownline to stop 33, located at Gallatin High School. The route begins at 7 a.m. and runs hourly until just before 7 p.m. Your student will arrive on time for class and can catch a ride home from practice, freeing up your time, saving gas, and helping them build independence. To stay in the loop on all things Steamline, sign up for the monthly newsletter. Students can find the best route from school to home here.

Host an Exchange Student
Dear Gallatin High School Families,
My name is Sierra and I'm a local coordinator with ICES - International Cultural Exchange Services. I have been working with foreign exchange students for over a decade and I am reaching out because I would love your help in finding amazing host families in the Bozeman community. We currently have 11 exchange students in Bozeman. Being the matchmaker to Montana families and brave foreign teens is my passion.
I'm seeking host families to host an exchange student for the 2024-2025 school year. I have personally been an exchange student and hosted an exchange student, so I know the life-changing impact a host family can have on a lucky international teen. Exchange students have their own spending money and health insurance. They are ages 15-18 and come from all over the world. I will help guide you to hand-select a wonderful student to join your family.
Here is an article that was published in Montana Parent - CLICK HERE
One of our exchange students was also featured in a story with ABC Montana - CLICK HERE
- Students are 15-18 Years Old
- Students will attend local high schools
- Students come from Europe, South America, and Asia
- Hand-select the student that you invite into your family by reading their letters and application
- Provide room (can be shared), meals, and transportation to school events
- Treat like a member of the family - students help with chores and follow household rules
- Students have their own health insurance and spending money (for clothing, cell phone, activities, travel, etc)
- Host families are eligible to receive a tax deduction
- Learn about a new culture without leaving your home
Thank you for your careful consideration. I understand that this is a big commitment and a family decision. I'm more than happy to answer any questions. If the timing isn't right, please let me know and I can always keep you on my list for future years. You can also help by passing this along to anyone you know in the community who may be open to hosting a student.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Sierra
