Mart Elementary's New Reading Initiative
Mart Elementary stocked the new Book Nook vending machine this week. This machine was made possible by a donation from Storybook Christmas. Students will be able to buy tokens at the AR store to use in the machine. Tokens will also be given out for random acts of kindness throughout the month of October as part of the campus's kindness initiative.
Random Acts of Kindness Challenge
October is Bullying Prevention Month and both Mart ISD campuses have joined the Random Acts of Kindness Challenge. Stay tuned for news on the various activities planned to spread kindness among our students and staff.

Floral Design Mums & Garters
Mart ISD Floral Design is selling traditional mums and garters for Homecoming 2024. Deadline to order is September 30th. Pre-paid orders only. Items will be delivered by October 11th. Contact Andrea Hall at andrea.hall@mymartisd.org with any questions.

Cowbell Decorating
Parents of the Class of 2028 invite you to join them for a cowbell decorating contest. Come out and support a great cause along with a creative way to cheer on our Panthers! Enrichment Foundation Shirts
You may have seen staff wearing their shirts from the Mart Enrichment Foundation today. If you would like one of your own, visit https://gogandy.com/mart-enrich before October 4th. Shirts are $25 and proceeds benefit the Mart Enrichment Foundation which provides innovative teaching grants to MISD staff each year.
