As we move forward into the new year and wrap up the second marking period, a few important reminders:

Please make sure parent information (including e-mail and phone numbers) is updated in ParentVue. Many whole class or whole school messages come back undelivered based on the information in this database. Please update so you are sure to get all of the information sent!

Attendance

It is no secret (I hope!) that attendance is important and makes a difference in a student's education. In a perfect world, we would have all students at school every day; however, that's just not how life works. Whenever possible, please ensure your students are in school! Students who are truly ill are not expected to attend. Additionally, it is important that students bring a note from you or a doctor upon returning to school.

Schedules/Scheduling for 2020-2021

The marking period ends on January 30th. When students return on February 3rd, they will have new related arts classes. Students will begin to schedule for next school year at the end of February. More information to come.

The SGA will be hosting a Valentine's Dance on February 14th until 5PM. Students will be able to purchase tickets during lunch.

After reading A Solider's Heart by Gary Paulsen, students in Mrs. Farioli's and Mrs. Horst's classes were able to make a real life extension with guest speakers from Veteran's in the Classroom.

Top 10 Finalists

Mrs. Marleen Moore was named as one of five finalists for Educational Support Personnel of the Year! The winner will be announced during a banquet on February 12th. Way to go, Mrs. Moore!

Our school resource officer, Deputy Ron Hardy, will be taking a well-deserved retirement at the end of this week. Ron has been a support to our school and community as an SRO for 12 years and as a citizen, parent, coach, and grandparent for MANY more!

We will miss him, but wish him well as he moves into this next phase of life.
