Welcome Back from your Administrative Team
Hello Pirate Nation!
September has been a great month of learning at Parkway! Students are diving deep into the first quarter material for their classes, and we have already seen them growing and learning with their classmates. We are wrapping up FAST Progress Monitoring 1 testing for both Reading and Math and plan on using the data from these tests to help establish your student's goals over this next school year.
You may have heard your student speak about a new class that just began: GRIT. GRIT is our intervention period that lets us take extra time to focus on your scholar's specific needs regarding Reading and Math. Students work with our teachers to receive additional help during GRIT time to support what they are learning in their classes.
We have some exciting events coming up this month and we invite all our families to check our school's website regularly to see what our Pirate Scholars are up to! We hope to see you at one of our events soon!
