Your students are settling into the spring semester nicely. We have been reviewing procedures and expectation daily.
Reminder!
Central Catholic School WILL be in session on Monday January 20th. Students should report to school at our regular time. The doors open at 6:30am and school will begin at 7:30am.
(This is our makeup day for December 6th.)
Re Enrollment
It is time to start thinking about re enrollment!
We will begin taking applications for re enrollment on Monday January 27! We will be accepting applications for current families and Pre K students. Your application and $100 deposit is needed to hold your students spot for the 25 26 school year.
Please remember that our classes cap at 28 students. Our space is limited, so enroll early to ensure your student has a spot!

As a reminder if you feel like it is too dangerous for you to travel to school due to weather, please call the school office before 8:30am to communicate that information. (317) 783-7759.

Energy Assistance Program
There is a program to help families pay their heating bills over the winter. It depends on the total income of the family. Please text or call me (317-207-6153) if you would like to learn more. I can help you fill out the application.
Future Royals
Completing Roncalli's Application for Admission
Roncalli is excited to welcome the Class of 2029 next fall! The application for admission is now available online at https://roncalli.schooladminonline.com/users/sign_in. As a reminder, the application/registration fee is $100, and it will increase to $150 after January 15, 2025. All fees are nonrefundable.
Once the application is complete, please continue through the Checklist Items in the Parent Portal. For those who have not been in a South Deanery Catholic grade school for grades seven and eight, one of those next steps will include scheduling an admissions interview for January 14, 15 or 16. For those who do not need an admissions interview, Allie Ross, director of admissions and marketing, will email you with appointment times for scheduling courses. Handbook Reminders
All students go outside for recess.
Please send a coat - hat and gloves if you student gets cold easily- daily! We do not have coats to lend students to go outside.
The only exception to this policy is if it is raining or if the air temperature/ windchill is below 25 degrees at recess time.

Sunday January 26th - Loteria - Kick off to Catholic Schools Week!
Tuesday January 28th - NO AFTERCARE - all students will need to be picked up at dismissal. Please make arrangements for your student to be picked up.
Monday January 27th - Registration opens for current school families - please pick up your registration packet in the office.
Catholic Schools Week - Sunday January 26 - Friday January 31 - more information to come on our out of uniform days and service projects for the week.
Lunch 1/13--1/17
Monday: taco salad with refried beans, pizza lunchable, or chicken Caesar salad
Tuesday: chicken patty on a bun with coleslaw, PB&J or chicken Caesar salad
Wednesday: BBQ beef sliders, pizza lunchable, or chicken Caesar salad
Thursday: chicken nuggets and sweet potato fries, PB&J, or chicken Caesar salad
Friday: pepperoni pizza, pizza lunchable or lunchie munchie
Substitutions may be made without notice. Student meals are provided at no cost through the USDA. Lunch includes choices of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, proteins, and dairy.
