Structure of the Confederation
The structure of the Confederation consist of a one-house legislature that requires one vote per state. For a law to pass, it required 9 out of the 13 states to vote for it. The Confederation also has control over the military and has the powers to make treaties.
Weaknesses of the Confederation
The Confederation itself could not enforce laws and it could not tax. There was no executive branch, nor was there any court system. The Confederation also states that it could not trade resources of any kind or receive any resources from other countries.
