CISD Tech Weekly Update

We are making some changes to the Wi-Fi within the district. It is our hope that these changes will improve speed and productivity. Read below for more info.

If you are trying to connect to CISD Wi-Fi from your personal device, the best way to connect is with the CISD_Staff Wi-Fi. As an employee, you can connect using your district computer login credentials. This network is available for CISD educators, and it isn't throttled down like the others. You may also use CISD_WiFi, but it is open to guests, so more users can be on it, and it could be a little slower. There are 2 other district Wi-Fi networks available as you can see in the image. The CISD network is for district infrastructure such as your Newline board, and the CISD_Google is for student Chromebooks.

The December Capstone interactive calendar works with Pebble Go, Pebble Go Next, and Capstone eBooks to highlight special events throughout the month. It's a great way to celebrate and learn about topics that tie into our curriculum including important historical events, and other special events that our kids love to learn and read about throughout the year.
