Gale-Bailey News Letter๐ฆ๐
United We ROAR for All!
Happy New Year!!! Let's Get It!
Dear Gale-Bailey Families, Students, and Our Wonderful School Community,
MyPath testing will finish this week providing an important opportunity for students to showcase their growth and identify areas to continue improving. Parents, your support plays a vital role in preparing students for success. Here are five tips to ensure your child is ready for testing:
- Get plenty of sleep the night before. A well-rested mind performs better!
- Eat a healthy breakfast to fuel focus and energy.
- Arrive on time so your child feels calm and ready to begin.
- Minimize distractions at home by setting a dedicated time for review or practice.
- Encourage a positive mindset with affirmations like โYouโve got this!โ
Please remember the importance of keeping learning alive at home. Please encourage your child to read with you daily and make it enjoyable. If they use devices, guide them toward engaging in iReady MyPath activities. Ask questions that spark critical thinking, and take moments to show how math is used in everyday life. Together, we can ensure every Mighty Lion is on track for success and reading on grade level!
At Gale-Bailey, we remain committed to student progress, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By using daily formative assessments, our dedicated team closely monitors each studentโs growth, identifying gaps and making real-time adjustments to meet their needs. Through teamwork and a shared vision, we enhance the educational experience, ensuring every student is supported, valued, and empowered to achieve their best. Thank you for being an essential part of our Mighty Lion community!
It is snowing already!
With gratitude and high expectations,
