This is an update for the 6th Grade Orientation.

• Date: August 31, 2022
• Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Location: Middle School

9:45-10:00 am - Parents/Students arrive

• Students with last names A through L will report directly to the LGR.

• Students with last names M through Z will report directly to the cafeteria.

10:05-10:50 am -

• Students A - L will follow their schedule, go to their locker, and work on opening their lock.

• We will have the bell schedule set to prompt movement from one class to another.

• Students M - Z will be in the cafeteria viewing information tables

10:50 am - Students A - L will report back to the LGR

11:05 - 11:50 am -

• Students M - Z will follow their schedule, go to their locker, and work on opening their lock.

• We will have the bell schedule set to prompt movement from one class to another.

• Students A - L will be in the cafeteria viewing information tables

12:00 - Ice Cream - voucher received from filling out the “cafeteria stations” document - ice cream is FREE for students, sponsored by the MS PTSO. Other family members may purchase ice cream as well!

Cafeteria Stations (students will also receive a “goodie bag”)

• Help Desk- Chromebooks will be handed out, parents will sign the user agreement

• Doug Porter/Cafeteria - September Menus, free/reduced lunch form and practice entering Student ID number through the lunch line

• District Registrar - Parent portal sign up, school tool information changes

• Transportation - Pick Up/drop off times, bus expectations

• Stars - Linda Bruno - Information about the Stars program and how to sign up

• Ravena Public Library - Barbara Goetschius - Library Cards information, calendars with upcoming events

• Principal/Assistant Principal - Student/Parent Handbooks, Middle School Success pamphlets

• Clubs and Activities - Clubs and Activities booklets, staff available for questions

• SPED - Information about Special Education programs, staff available for questions
