Right now, we are just over halfway to our school supply donation goal of $13K. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far! If you haven't contributed yet, please donate here!

Each fall, Ross families are asked to contribute $100 per student to cover the cost of school supplies for the coming year. The PTA provides funds to Ross teachers to purchase what they need for their students and classrooms. This saves parents a trip to the store and ensures equity among students.

In your order, you can donate additional funds to help families who aren't able to cover the full amount.

We're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow afternoon at Ross for the Sneak-a-Peek Open House from 2:30-3:30. After visiting classrooms, stop by the PTA table outside to grab a popsicle and learn about our plans for the school year and how you can get involved!

The Ross PTA is partnering with our Dupont Circle Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC 2B) to help promote pedestrian safety in our neighborhood. To better engage and reach the community, we're inviting Ross students to participate! We’re encouraging students to create artwork that can help raise awareness and educate our local neighbors and drivers about the importance of keeping our streets safe for everyone. Artwork may be featured in local businesses or on social media as part of this campaign, as well as used for signage around the neighborhood. We would also encourage families to post their art in their home windows and front yards during the month of September!

We encourage students and families to start creating art now - we hope to receive submissions by no later than September 9. We are working to plan one or more dedicated sessions, with materials, to support student participation. Details will be forthcoming shortly.

How to Submit Your Artwork:

1. Label with the artist's first name and age
2. Take a picture and email to RossPTAoperations@gmail.com
3. Or, you can drop your artwork at Ross, in the submission box in the lower level outside the main office

Join fellow Ross families, teachers and staff to welcome in the new school year! Our annual picnic will be held Thurs, Sept 22, from 5-7pm on the Ross field and playground. Details to come!
