Hello Blevins Families,

We just finished our End of 1st Quarter Assembly this afternoon - including a Students vs. Staff Volleyball game! I love these moments in the school year to recognize our students for their positive contributions to Blevins, such as Students of the Month, athletics, clubs, and more. We also recognized our student-selected Teacher of the Quarter: Ms. Rajnowski!

I also want to take this opportunity to give a shout-out to our Counseling and Mental Health team. We're proud of our group that includes three counselors, mental health specialist, registrar, psychologist, family liaison and social worker. I encourage you to check in with your child regularly about how they are feeling at school, both academically and socially, and don't hesitate to reach out to us for support. We thrive on the connections we make with our students and work hard to be there for each of them when they need us.

The Bruin Club is thrilled to invite you to our Pumpkin Palooza on Friday, October 25th, from 5:30-7:00 PM!

Join us for a fun-filled evening of pumpkin decorating, festive fall activities, and light refreshments. The event is free, but please bring your own pumpkin—decorating supplies will be provided.

Students are invited to participate in Halloween costume wear on Thursday, October 31. Please remember that all costumes must follow school dress code expectations, which includes no masks, face paint, blood/gore, and cultural appropriation. All weapons and facsimiles of weapons are prohibited.

The Boston/NY Trip will be here before we know it, and we want to make sure you don’t miss it! The enrollment deadline is fast approaching on November 18th. This gives us enough time to get your students’ information turned in before it is too late! Blooming Girls After-School Development Program

The Health & Wellness Center at Lincoln Middle School, run by Every Child Pediatrics, is having a vaccine clinic on 9/11/24, 10/ 16/24, 11/20/24, and 12/18/24 from 9 - 5 at Lincoln Middle School for students who qualify for Vaccines for Children (VFC) vaccines or vaccines paid for through private insurance.
