We had quite a week of events last week. Thank you to our wonderful staff and PTG who pulled off a Literacy Night, Donuts with Grownups, and Career Day! They were all a huge success and wouldn't have been without each of you!

Summer School Registration is Closing May 31
2024 Summer School is an opportunity for your child to deepen their math and literacy skills as well as engage in creative enrichment activities and make social connections. There will be fun activities including STEM, Swim & Safety, and Field Trips.
July 8th thru August 1st
Monday - Thursday 9:00-2:00
Lunch included, bus transportation available

Thank you so much to all the volunteers who helped with Literacy Night and to everyone who came out to celebrate literacy with us at Clarkes last week! A very special thank you to Ms. Rachel, Ms, Becky, and Ms. Lee for all their work preparing and organizing the fun literacy activities!
Our Read-a-thon Fundraiser is in full swing! Donors can give per amount read by your student or give a flat donation amount. Packets with details went home last week. Remember to get funds turned in to teachers or the office by Friday May 24th! Feel free to email us with any questions!

Field Trip Season
Spring is upon us and that means that field trips will be in full swing shortly! Just a reminder that if you are accompanying your child's class on a field trip, you will need to be attending as a chaperone and have all of your required volunteer paperwork completed and cleared through the district office before you can attend. Chaperone spots are limited depending on the field trip. Parents who are not on the approved chaperone list will unfortunately need to wait for another field trip opportunity. Chaperones will need to ride the bus to provide supervision to their group of students. Please remember that a field trip is an educational experience for all of our students, this means that you will be in charge of a group of students, not just your own child. If you are not a chaperone, please do not show up at the field trip planning to "tag along" with the class as this poses safety concerns. Safety is of the utmost importance in all situations, but especially on field trips.
