RRMS E-News
November 25th - 29th, 2024
Principal's Post
This week was filled with excitement at RRMS! Over 100 of our district's talented middle school students participated in the ST-ARTS auditions, showing off their skills and creativity. We also wrapped up the week with the district honor band practice and performance – an inspiring event for everyone involved!
In the spirit of fun, we dressed up in support of our favorite college teams, getting ready for the big Clemson vs. South Carolina rivalry game over the Thanksgiving break.
As a reminder, Thanksgiving break will begin on Wednesday, November 27th. We hope you enjoy this special time with your family, relax, and recharge for the weeks ahead.

#ChangeStartsWithMe!
The "Leader in Me" Habit #4 is Think Win-Win
Habit 4: Think Win-Win isn’t just about being nice. It’s a character-based code for human interaction and collaboration.
“In the long run, if it isn’t a win for both of us, we both lose. That’s why win-win is the only real alternative in interdependent realities.”
— Dr. Stephen R. Covey
What does it mean to THINK-WIN-WIN?
Think Win-Win is the belief that everyone can win. It's not me or you—it is both of us. It is a belief that there are enough good things for everyone; it is an abundant way of thinking. Think Win-Win is being happy for others when good things happen to them.
November is Native American Heritage Month
We are celebrating Native American Heritage to recognize the achievements and contributions of Native American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.
Let's Go Raiders!

Beta Club
The Rawlinson Road Middle School Chapter of the National Beta Club will be inviting new members to join in January 2025. Membership is based first on academics, requiring a 3.5 GPA at the end of 1st semester. Behavior is then reviewed as no student can hold membership if they have out-of-school suspension. If your child has made As and Bs so far this semester, there is a good chance you'll see an invitation in the mail. Talk to your student about the advantages of Beta Club Membership.
