Wednesday's in November from 9:00 - 9:45 am and 2:00 - 2:45 pm

College Application Workshops will continue through November. These workshops give seniors the opportunity to work with the Counseling & Career Center on their college applications. Seniors can use this time to work on their college applications, ask questions or have us review their applications before they hit submit. We can also review college essays and PIQs during this time.

College Application Workshop Registration (seniors must register using their LVJUSD account)

Students who took the PSAT/NMSQT last month should have access to their scores starting on November 7. Students who provided their mobile number on the test registration should receive a text message from College Board when scores are available. Students may view their scores through the BigFuture School app or online on their personal College Board account. Please note that scores come directly from College Board. More information will be provided when scores are officially released.

The College and Career Center will be available for last minute college application help. Seniors can stop by the College and Career Center before school, during passing period and/or an open period, at lunch or after school until 4:00 pm on the following days:

Students will learn more about teen mental health as well as resources both on campus and in the community. All students are welcome.

Tuesday, December 10 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm

We are hosting a Virtual Financial Aid Night on for all LVJUSD students and parents/guardians. This event will be presented by the University of the Pacific Financial Department. This is a must-attend event for families wondering how to pay for college and/or need clarification about the financial aid process. This event is open to all students and parents/guardians but current seniors and senior families are encouraged to attend.

December 4 - DC 16 in San Leandro

Students are invited to tour DC 16 in San Leandro. DC 16 are Painters, Drywall Finishers, Glaziers, Floor Coverers and Specialty Craft Workers. Students will have the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about the programs offered as well as participate in hands-on activities and enjoy lunch. Transportation will be provided. This field trip is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors. Students can use the link below to register by November 6.
