PTO NEWS & NOTES
INTERNATIONAL NIGHT
Montgomery's International Night is TONIGHT! Join your fellow Montgomery families in celebrating the diversity within our school. The event will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at school. All are welcome to attend and enjoy a trip around the world!
BOX TOPS SUCCESS!
A huge THANK YOU to all Montgomery families who participated in the Box Tops March Madness challenge! Congratulations to Mr. Maxwell's 4th grade class!! They won the "Clip-It" trophy, a class party, and have been crowned Box Tops Champions. As a community, over 7,650 individual Box Tops were clipped and submitted. This is a school record! We raised $798.80 for Montgomery Elementary! A special thank you goes to Mrs. Bass for sharing her wonderful idea for March Madness. Keep collecting those Box Tops because every one counts!
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The Make A Difference Committee is sponsoring an after-school service activity on Monday, March 19, beginning at 3:45 on the stage. We will be making Take-Away snack bags for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, near Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. The bags are meant for the families of the hospitalized child so that instead of heading to the cafeteria or vending machine, they can stay near their child's bedside. For more information and to volunteer time and resources, please follow this link to the Sign-Up Genius. You must be registered in order to participate.
FINAL YEARBOOK OPPORTUNITY
We have extended the online Yearbook order deadline to March 23rd. All orders must be placed online by then. YEARBOOK PICTURES NEEDED
Yearbook needs pictures from your field trip, class room parties or any kind of fun that you have had in the classroom. These are great memories for the kids to have in the yearbook. Please share these photos with me. Three ways to share.
1. Every classroom teacher has a zip drive that you can upload photos on and leave it in the yearbook mailbox.
2. Upload your photos on the Yearbook page, community.lifetouch.com using the access code , OKHKYN.
3. You are also welcome to email me pics. Even if you just have one great photo, please share. Deadline is March 21st.

Tuesday, March 20, 7:00 p.m.
The PTO is excited to bring SCREENAGERS, a candid documentary discussing the impact of screen time on our children, to Montgomery Elementary this Spring. The award-winning film dives deeply into the vulnerable aspects of family life and depicts the messy struggles over social media, video games, and academics. It offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital world. A short discussion will follow the movie, led by Montgomery school counselor, Beth Hill. Please note: This private screening is intended for adults only. Visit this link to reserve your seat!
