Today marked the end of the last full week of the 2023-2024 school year! This week, our students participated in many fun and exciting events. Field Day on Tuesday was a huge success! Students were able to rotate to 12 different activity stations throughout the day, and the weather was perfect. I wanted to extend a sincere thank you to Ms. Smith, as well as 8 high school student volunteers for helping to make this such a special day for students and staff. I hope you enjoy the photos below.
Our second grade enjoyed a visit to GES where we were greeted by the team of third grade teachers, Mr. Poucher, and Ms. Teneyak. They were able to ask questions, tour the classroom, visit the cafeteria, library, and gym, and playground. I went with them, and was incredibly impressed by their maturity and behavior. They are ready for the transition to GES!

Reminders for remainder of the year:
- Tuesday 6/18: UPK Beach Day
- Wednesday 6/19: No School, Juneteenth
- Friday 6/21: Second Grade picnic
- Monday 6/24: UPK graduation ceremony at 9:30 in the gym. This CAN be the last day for UPK students if you choose. They are able to come on 6/25 if there are childcare concerns.
- Tuesday 6/25 Kindergarten parade at 9:30 in the front bus loop.
- Also the last day of school for K-2 students
