New EBSCOhost User Interface

EBSCO is rolling out a new user interface at the end of July. The South Dakota State Library currently provides access to a variety of EBSCO electronic database resources through the SDBOR Regental Database Consortium.

Attend one of EBSCO’s training sessions to get a preview of the new layout. Sessions are being offered throughout June and July. Go to the SDSL Training Calendar to register for a session.

Miss Humblebee’s Academy Updates

Miss Humblebee’s Academy is an interactive learning program for children ages three to six., aligned with preschool and elementary standards. Recent updates include improved navigation, new on-demand lessons, and Spanish content. Check out the below for more info:

• Gale Presents: Miss Humblebee’s Academy ‘An eBook a Week’ – this project was created to support summer learning by having kids read an eBook a week from MHA
• Welcome to Gale Presents: Miss Humblebee’s Academy! – quick introductory tutorial for library staff or parents
• Marketing Materials – great promotional tools, including social media images and bookmarks to spread the word
