Principal's Message
Thank you to Mrs. Marquis and all the chorus and band students in 4th grade. We appreciate having your talents start our holiday season! Next week: Dec 18th, the 5th Grade Concert for more holiday fun!
On December 18th, the 5th Grade students will sponsor their EMPTY BOWLS service learning project before the holiday concert. The students have made bowls and have added succulents to the bowls for a nice holiday present for someone in your family. Bowls will be sold for $5.00 and all the money goes to our local resource center in our district. Soup will be served at 5:00 pm. Please come and join us for dinner and support this worthy cause, plus stay for our holiday concert!
The Frogtown Puppetters will be in Orono putting on "The Grinch" at 3pm in the Asa Adams Gym in Orono.
Monday, December 17: Wear your Red and Green Colors
Tuesday, December 18: Holiday Socks
Wednesday, December 19: Wear a peaceful message on your shirt
Thursday, December 19: Wear a holiday outfit (could be PJs, Sweater, or Dress)

Looking Back
Students in the Second Grade enjoyed spending time at the "Sarah's House" in their community service project. The students get a lot out of the experience and learn to give back to those in need.
Looking Ahead to the Week of December 10-14

December 18: Day 5: 5th Grade Winter Concert, Empty Bowls Dinner (5 pm)

December 21: Day 2: Sparkle Day!!!!
If you are a parent of a 4th Graders, students will be selected for the National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) testing in February of 2019. We will provide more information later, but wanted to give you a heads up to this one-day testing session.
