Greetings Lions!! We have arrived at the unofficial start to summer and we hope that you and your family will have the opportunity to enjoy the long weekend together. You have been working hard during our distance learning time and this weekend will provide an opportunity to recharge as we head into the home stretch to finish the school year.

We have been working on some special things planned in the coming weeks for all students and are excited to see everyone participate!

We have been provided the guidelines for student pickup/drop off of items as we prepare to close out the school year. As a school team we are working on using these guidelines to prepare a safe and efficient process. Pick up/drop off will begin the week of June 8 with assigned days and times for families. Additional communication through FOF will be forthcoming with details and directions next week.

Each year, we have some movement with staffing from one team to another for various reasons. This year, we congratulate Mrs. Pfeifer (Miss Debby) on her retirement and Mrs. Monninger on her move out of state! We wish the best of luck to Mrs. Forsyth who is moving to first grade at Whittier Elementary School, Mrs. Jacques who will serve as a special educator at Yellow Springs Elementary, Ms. Truax who will be a special educator at Monocacy Middle School, Mrs. Murphy will be a special educator at Butterfly Ridge Elementary and Mrs. Campbell who will be teaching for MCPS. Grade level teams for next year are as follows:

Pre-Kindergarten: Mrs. Gray

Inclusive Pre-K: Mrs. Meiselwitz

Kindergarten: Ms. Bartolomeo, Mrs. Bryant, Mr. Leiter, Mrs. Sigman
