SVLA Newsletter for Mid-February 2024
SVLA is Central Valley's parent partnership Learning Options program.
Learning Showcase
The learning showcase project walk was a huge success. Did you get a chance to see the learning projects? We had great elementary projects, middle school writing samples, photos from the biology class dissection, and, of couse, lots of wonderful art projects. Thank you for sharing your learning with us. We appreciate all you do!
Learning Spotlight
Exploring Learning Beyond Classroom Walls with Explorer Cousins Noah and Henry
Taking full advantage of the flexibility offered by SVLA, Noah and Henry, along with their families, with their learning materials in tow, delved into their studies while surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the ocean and an opportunity to feed manta rays. We're so glad learning is not confined to the four walls of a classroom!
Third Quarter Workshops
Q3 elementary workshops remaining: Feb. 26; March 4, 11, & 18.
Serenity's awesome parents organized a diorama-building workshop for students to explore crafting their own miniature worlds.
Christian opened wide to help his dad share some facts about dental care. Mrs. Suda's room was transformed into a dentist's office with a fun virtual background!
