Highlights!
Future Bobcat Night
Thank you to all of the students that came out Thursday night to showcase all that Bell has to offer to our prospective students. They did an amazing job!
Shidori
In conjunction with their unit on Ancient Civilizations, this week in 7th Grade Social Studies, students were able to practice the art of Shibori. Originating from ancient China, shibori was adapted in a unique way by the Japanese and is one of the oldest indigo dying techniques in Japan. Students were able to participate in this activity thanks to a grant from the SCFD.
What's Happening at Bell
Ulysses Park Renovation
The City of Golden's major renovations to Ulysses Park, located just west of Bell, originally scheduled for November, have now been delayed to December. The parking lot on 10th Street that serves this park will be closed during all phases of the construction. Please make note if you typically use this area during drop-off and pick-up to and from school. The construction also may, at times, cause some disruption to the street patterns. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this project.
Colorado Gives
We are excited to announce that Bell is participating in Colorado Gives. Colorado Gives is now through December 10! Every donation is so appreciated. If you are able to set up a recurring, monthly donation, Colorado Gives will match your first monthly donation up to $100 and up to $250,000 in total across all organizations!
If you donate to the Bell Middle Campaign on Colorado Gives you will be helping to raise the funds to replace the digital marquee to help improve school-family communications. The current marquee has limited functionality, and it is not located in an area that is easily visible from the streets that border Bell. Check out Bell's CO Gives Page Here.
This is a fantastic opportunity to double your impact and support PTA's efforts to continue to support Bell Middle School!
Miracle Shop Gifts
Bell is collecting unwrapped toys and gifts for the Miracle Shop that supports the Golden community. The Miracle Shop is a place for families in need to shop for gifts for their loved ones. Please bring in your gifts to the Bell main office anytime between Monday, Dec. 2nd - Friday, Dec. 13th. Thank you for you kindness and support.
