Thank you for considering Hillside Middle School as your child's school of choice! Here are some steps that may help you in making your SOC decision.
Step 1: We encourage all families to attend the HMS Showcase-January 30th @ 5:30 (not required)
Step 2: Optional tour for families new to Hillside. Take a tour (not required)
Step 3: Complete the School of Choice Application on SVUSD's website. It is due before 4:00 PM on Friday, February 7th, 2025 in order to be eligible for the lottery.
Step 4: Acceptances will be communicated to families by end of the day on February 14th.
Step 5: Once accepted, families will need to review registration and course selection materials. A virtual Q & A session will be offered on February 19th, from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Links will be included in acceptance letter and school website.
