Rebuilding Together
#LincolnStrong
Lincoln Families,
As we reflect on this week, we are filled with inspiration for the resilience and strength of our Lincoln community. Welcoming our students back after the tragic Palisades fire has been a reminder of the challenges many have faced, and we are committed to providing the support needed to help our students and families heal and move forward.
Looking ahead, please remember that there will be no school this Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. We hope this time offers an opportunity for rest, reflection, and connection with loved ones.
Our doors and hearts remain open to you. If you or your child need any additional support, please do not hesitate to reach out. Together, we will continue to navigate these times with compassion and care.
Thank you for being part of the Lincoln family.

The 60-minute musical, designed for middle school-aged performers, is based on the 1994 Broadway production and Disney’s 1991 animated feature film. The Lincoln Theatre cast includes almost a hundred students led by Chad Scheppner and Theatre 31 instructors.

In order to break the spell, the Beast must learn to love another and earn her love in return – before time runs out. With the help of the castle’s enchanted staff, including a loving teapot, a charming candelabra, and a nervous mantel clock, Belle and the Beast find a beautiful friendship and love that neither knew was possible. Beauty and the Beast JR. features classic songs from the Academy Award®-winning film score such as “Be Our Guest” and “Belle,” as well as original songs from the 1994 Tony®-nominated Broadway musical.

Creating Space for Refletion and Support
Thank you!
This week, our teachers created meaningful opportunities for students to reflect on the tragic events surrounding the Palisades fire. These moments allowed our students to process their feelings, share their thoughts, and find comfort within our caring school community.
In addition to reflecting on the challenges, we also took time to honor and recognize the incredible heroism of the first responders who courageously worked to protect lives and property during this devastating event. Their bravery and dedication are a powerful reminder of the strength and compassion that bind communities together.
We are proud of our students for their resilience and grateful for the continued partnership of our families as we support one another through this time. Please know that we are here for you and your children if additional support is needed.
LA Strong Bake Sale
Tuesday, January 21st, 3pm-3:30pm
We are thrilled to share that Mrs. Howard and her students will be hosting a bake sale to support a wonderful cause! All donations from the bake sale will go directly to benefit the Southern California Firefighters in recognition of their heroic efforts during the Palisades fire.
This is a great opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy some delicious treats, and show our appreciation for the brave firefighters who worked tirelessly to protect our region.
