** CLC Policies **
Please remember that summer programming is a structured afterschool program, we will continue to follow the same rules as the regular school day.
Summer programming will present itself as a summer club or camp and the students will have to agree to the terms and expectations of the establishment and the staff members they will be working with. They will be presented with a Summer Contract that looks very similar to the current CLC Club contract. In order for the contract to be solidified it will need to have a student and parent/guardian signature. The CLC summer staff will take the time to go over these rules and expectations with the students at the beginning of programming.
Just a reminder that there is a NO- TOY school wide policy so please do not send your students to summer programming with toys or personal belongings that would be devastating to break or lose.
When we do a Show and Tell or Stuffy day during Summer CLC, I will be sure to inform you beforehand, they will be posted in the weekly updates.
* Any toys and/or distractions can and may be confiscated by CLC staff and will need to be retrieved by a parent or guardian. *
Community Lunch Opportunity:
This summer we will be implementing a community-based breakfast and lunch experience allowing all community members aged 18 and younger to be provided a meal at our location. This will ensure that not only will each CLC attendee be provided breakfast and lunch all summer long, but also that any kid in our community may be provided for as well.
Our Breakfast hours will run from 8:00am-9:00am
Lunch will be 12:00pm-1:00pm
If you know of any community members in the area who may be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please be sure to pass along this exciting message!
Lunch will be served outside by the east kitchen doors of the building and there will be signs directing them on where to go.
Snacks:
Snacks will not be provided so please remember to send your students with at least 2 healthy nut-free snacks to help them stay fueled and focused throughout their day!
