Senior Check-Out Process


Procedure all 12th grade students must complete before they leave on 5/17:


  1. Your grades will be finalized at the end of the day on Thursday 5/16.

    1. IMPORTANT NOTE: if you are not passing your classes by the end of day on 5/16, you will not be able participate in commencement and your name will not appear in the program.

  2. Before 5/17, you must also complete the Google Form for the Counselors (will be emailed to you from Guidance).

    1. You CANNOT complete the checkout unless this form is done. Do this ahead of time!

  3. On Friday 5/17, you will complete the steps on the Check-Out form and return it to Guidance

    1. You will get a hard copy of the Check Out form with your name on it in your Senior English class (or your 1st class at NRHS) on 5/15.

      1. If you lose your original hard copy, you can access a blank digital copy of this form here. Please print a new one and complete the form.

      2. Read the form carefully! You must complete all steps!

      3. If you are a full-time CCP student, your check-out form is available for pick-up in the NRHS main office. JVS forms will be handed out at JVS.

All obligations to NRCS and Jostens need to be met before you can receive your cap and gown or participate in commencement rehearsal. If you have any questions, contact the main office.


When the form is completed, you will receive your cap and gown card. You will need this card in order to pick up your cap and gown. If it gets lost, you will need to complete the form again!


Caps and gowns will be distributed on Monday, May 20 from 12:30-2PM in the Back Gym.



Senior Celebration


NR CLASS OF 2024 COME AND CELEBRATE WITH YOUR

FRIENDS AND CLASSMATES AT THE SENIOR CELEBRATION

TUESDAY MAY 14TH, 6-9PM @ NRHS

MISSED THE PRESALE? NO PROBLEM YOU CAN GET TICKETS AT THE DOOR FOR $5 (CASH ONLY)


There will be food trucks, volleyball, yard games, photobooth, obstacle course, facepainting, caricaturists, raffle prizes and more. Tickets sold at the door will not receive an alumni t-shirt.


Check Out Some of the Raffle Prizes for the Senior Celebration: Themed Baskets, Amusement Park and Sporting Event Tickets, TV, Keurigs, Woozo Fans, SO MANY Gift Cards and more!


Seating will be limited. Please bring a camp chair or blanket if you wish to sit down.


*The celebration will be held rain or shine. If raining it will be moved inside the school.


** This event is for NR Class of 2024 only and no one else will be admitted. No Guests or underclassmen allowed.

*** NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.










Graduation Information


Commencement Rehearsal

Rehearsal will begin promptly at 10:00 on Wednesday May 22 in the Main Gym. Wear Ranger gear - cap optional! Please plan on arriving by 9:50 to find your seat. Seating assignments for graduates will be posted inside the gym. Tickets for the ceremony will be handed out at rehearsal.

In order to participate in Commencement you MUST attend rehearsal.


Commencement Details!

Commencement will begin at 7:30 PM at Wolstein Center on May 22. Doors open at 6:30. The ceremony will last about 1.5 hours.


Students will ride a bus from NRHS to the ceremony and leave after with their families. Students must arrive at NRHS at 5:30pm to catch the bus.


Each student will receive 8 tickets and 1 parking voucher at rehearsal. If a student needs additional tickets, they can be purchased for $5 each (cash only) after rehearsal at NRHS. No tickets will be sold at the event and additional parking is at the individual's expense.
