"Popcorn is prepared in the same pot, in the same heat, in the same oil and yet...the kernels do not pop at the same time. Don't compare your child to others. Their turn to POP is coming!"

Principal Reminders
- We will start Black History Trivia each morning. Winners will be announced at the end of the day.
- All World's Finest Chocolate Flyers and Letters will need to go home Wednesday afternoon after the assembly. Let's push our homeroom students to help make money for our school.
- Please make sure you conference with your students about their STAR goals in Math and Reading. Students can not effectively work for something if they do not know where they need to be. These conversations matter. We will be celebrating students success at the end of year with a cookout for all students who reach "BOTH" STAR Testing goals. Students that reach at least one goal will get an ice cream or popsicle.
- We will continue to conduct formal and informal walkthrough observations this week. Please make sure your lesson plans are posted and schedules updated outside your doors. Copeland will visit 3rd-6th Math/Science/related arts. Parrott will visit K-2, ELA/S.S.
- All ELA teachers will need to see their assigned day in the google spreadsheet for training throughout the month and plan accordingly. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18mnQBlmHUDdl_tZvzIljGccgO2x-3PLGR9XwZlJQY_w/edit#gid=0
- We need to make sure we are wearing our School ID Badges daily. Do not forget to sign in daily by 7:25. If you are having issues signing in, please contact the front office.
- Lesson plans are expected to be uploaded by 4 p.m on Fridays.
