Weekly Update for April 7-11,'25
Dear Families,
Beginning Monday, April 7th, Truscott's 3rd - 5th graders will begin state CMAS assessment. We are looking forward to our students doing their best and demonstrating their learning over time. We ask that students arrive on time each day and get a good night's sleep. Please make sure your child has a water bottle and they have breakfast (either at home or school) each day. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at any time. Our students have worked so hard throughout the year and we love celebrating their success through the test.

We will celebrate Children's Day/El día del niño on Thursday, April 24th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. There will be games, food and fun, as we celebrate the gift of children to our world. We hope to see you there!

School Counselor
My role here at Truscott is to support students socially, emotionally, and academically. I help students with peer conflicts, make friends, advocate for themselves, and grow in their social, emotional and academic skills. Students can always ask to come and talk to me. Sometimes teachers will ask that I check in with a student. I do lunch groups and small groups and I am also in their classes, lunch and recess as much as I can to support them in these skills in their normal environments. As a parent you are welcome to reach out as well. If there is a change at home or it was a particularly hard morning or you are noticing behavioral or emotional changes, please reach out. I can give some extra support and find ways to help your child feel safe and supported at school. Please use this Counselor Form, or call or email. I love to partner with families to provide the best support for your child at school.
