Here is more information on how you can support your student.
What is the Khanathalon?
The school with the highest percentage of skills leveled up to ‘Proficient’ or ‘Mastered’ in the courses below will take home the trophy. They must work on a minimum of 2 skills per week and have at least 25 students per school working on the course. The challenges this year available for schools are:
● Math Maestros - grade level mathematics
● SAT Stars - We will have two separate challenges this year for Math and Reading/Writing
● Money Masters - Financial Literacy
● Civic Scholars - Constitution 101
We will have an additional category this year - AI Explorers. In this category, the DISTRICTS will compete for the highest percentage of students actively using Khanmigo for the week. Ties will be broken by the highest percentage of teachers using Khanmigo for the week.
How can I help my child?
● Ask your child what they are learning, how they like to learn, and when.
● Discuss and celebrate your child’s progress - have they mastered a new topic recently?
● You are welcome to sign up for an account and try some lessons, too at https://www.khanacademy.org/
