Message from the Principal's Desk...
Hello Mt. Pleasant!
We are pleased to announce that our testing has been completed. Thank you for helping get our students to school during these last few crazy weeks. Everyone tried really hard and did the best they could on these assessments!
Also during the month of May, the PTO hosted their annual Bingo night with some awesome prize giveaways from gift baskets, to tablets and even a Nintendo Switch!!! It was a great night with lots of laughter and anticipation.
Our Celebration of Learning was also last month where each class showcased student's work. This event also included our Spring Book Fair and the last concert of the year. Thank you to Ms. Wellman and Ms. Thorpe for all of their efforts with our band and chorus students this year. Their talents really shined at this event.
Lastly, the month ended with our annual Field Day! Wow, what a day! It was perfect weather with a slight cloud cover so we did not have too many students with sunburns. It was warm enough for them to have some fun with water. Speaking of fun with water, a huge shout out to our Nashua Fire Department for swinging by with their water hose to douse our playground and students! Thank you to Ms. Short for making all of the arrangements and endless hours of planning for this fun filled day!
Now we can look forward to our end of school year activities. Please check out the calendar below to keep up to date on these events...
Kindergarten Registration!
There is still time to register your Kindergartner for the 2025-2026 school year. The online application is active.
We still have some backpacks left for any Kindergartener that registers for Mt. Pleasant Elementary School. These backpacks are filled with supplies to help them get ready for school!
Thank you.
Last Day of School

Message from our School Nurse
End of Year News from the Nurse
The end of the school year is a busy and exciting time. Below are a few reminders about the end of the year!
MEDICATION PICK UP: If a student has medication in the nurse office please don’t forget to pick it up. A parent or responsible adult can pick up the medication anytime during school hours until June 17th. Medications cannot go home with students. Medications that are not picked up at the end of the school year will be disposed of.
5th GRADE REMINDER - The medical records for all fifth grade students will be sent over to their respective middle schools by May 3oth. I will be collecting any information in the nurse’s office until that time, after that date, parents have the responsibility of sending the information to the appropriate middle school. Please remember, if your child wants to try out for middle school sports, they must have a physical exam that states they are cleared to participate in sports/gym that was done within the last year and that physical will need to be given to the middle school athletic director and their school nurse. Your student will also be due to receive the required Tdap vaccination after age 11 and prior to 7th grade.
MEDICAL PAPERWORK: If you have any updated physical exams or immunizations records to share during the school year, please send it to the nurse so that your student's medical file can be kept up to date.
Thank you for your support this year. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Have a wonderful summer!

Dismissal
Please note that student dismissal is at 2:40pm. Please do not enter the playground before 2:35pm as we may still be holding classes on the playground until this time. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Check out our Car Drop Off Lane
As parking is so limited around our building, we are utilizing the car drop off lane behind the school on Abbott Street this year for the mornings only. Please note that the right hand side of Abbott St. is a Car Drop Off Lane Only. Please do not park in this lane. There will be staff members stationed behind the school starting at 8am to welcome your children. Please have your child prepared to leave the vehicle on the right hand side, so as soon as you pull up the child may easily exit the vehicle and the car lane may keep moving forward.
If you would like to walk your student up to the school, please find an appropriate place to park and avoid this lane.
Thank you for your cooperation!
