Spring Newsletter from the Principal

Dear Raptor Families,

Happy Spring! As the days get longer and the weather warms, we are excited to reflect on the many accomplishments of our students and share some important updates with you.

Spring Events and Celebrations

Spring is always a busy time for us, and we have many exciting events lined up for our students and families. Some of the upcoming events include:

• Family Night: Cool, Calm & Collected Family Night will be held on 4/8/25. It’s a fun-filled night of learning calming techniques, yoga and ice cream!

• Spring Break: Please remember that Spring Break will take place from April 21-25th . We hope you have a restful and enjoyable time with your family!

• Grand Person Night: Watch for flyers inviting your child and their grand person to a night of fun at Riverview on 5/8/25.

Academic Achievements

We are incredibly proud of the hard work our students have put in this semester. As we approach the end of the year, many of our classes are gearing up for final projects and assessments. We encourage students to stay focused and continue giving their best effort in all subjects. Forward exams will take place next week for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. To help them be as successful as possible, remember to get a good night of sleep and eat breakfast.

Summer Programs: Registration is now open for our Summer School. Riverview is excited to offer engaging classes with themes including: Camping, Under the Sea and Animal Habitats. https://www.manitowocpublicschools.org/services/summer_school

Raptor Families! We are so close to our attendance goal of 94%. Can we make next week the week we hit our goal??? It's the perfect time to really focus on good attendance with more Forward Testing taking place next week! Please do everything you can to have your child here every day and on time.

Once we meet or exceed 94% attendance, we will turn our principal into a human sundae with each grade level adding a topping.
