STARTALK ARABIC PROGRAM INFO
Below is an opportunity for some cultural diversity in your life.
Located in Frisco, the STARTALK Arabic program enables current high school juniors and seniors to earn $1000 scholarships to learn beginner Arabic and immerse themselves in Arabic culture (music, art, and food). This federally sponsored three- week intensive summer course in Arabic language and culture runs from June 1-June 18, 2021 with eleven days of face-to-face instruction and three days of online learning. This fun and exciting opportunity to dive into Arabic language and culture will provide students with three UNT undergraduate credits at a fraction of the usual cost! The course includes daily lunches and art lessons. Master percussionist Hafez Kotain will lead daily sessions darbuka, a Middle Eastern drum. The deadline for applications is April 12th. IRELAND ST. PATRICK'S FESTIVAL SIGN UP DISCOUNT EXTENDED TO 3/31
