Morning Car Rider Reminders
To ensure a safe and efficient drop-off each morning—and to help speed up the car line and alleviate traffic on nearby streets—please follow these important guidelines:
- Use the entire red fire lane for drop-off. Pull all the way forward so multiple cars can unload at once and keep the line moving.
- Do not stop directly in front of the main doors if there is room to pull ahead. Even a few extra feet makes a big difference. Please pull to the end of the red fire lane or as close as possible to the next parked car.
- Make sure your student is ready to exit the car quickly when you stop. Backpacks should be on, and students should be prepared to exit promptly.
- Only drop off on the side closest to the building. There is only one designated lane for drop-off. The other lane is for passing only—no student drop-offs should occur from that side.
- Again, please do not stop at the front doors unless traffic prevents you from pulling forward. Using the full fire lane helps everyone get through the line more quickly and safely.
Your cooperation makes a big impact—thank you for helping us keep our students safe and our mornings running smoothly!
As we approach the end of the school year, it is critical that you turn in all of your Klein ISD-issued technology on your assigned collection date. This includes your Chromebook, Chromebook case, and Klein ISD-issued charger (no substitutions allowed)
Failure to turn in any of these items on time will delay the process of receiving your exemption card. You will only be cleared for your exemption card after all technology is returned and accounted for.
If you have lost your charger, damaged or lost your case, or lost your Chromebook, you will see the fee posted in your School Cash account the evening of your collection date. You cannot pay ahead of time. Fees must be paid before you can receive your exemption card. Once you pay your fee, you will see Ms. Parra in the library and she will clear you.
Don’t let a missing item or unpaid fee delay your exemption process—be prepared and stay on top of it!
