The Hamilton Elementary Library is excited to bring the Scholastic Book Fair to our campus. Your student will have the opportunity to browse a wide variety of books and other items available for purchase with proceeds benefiting our campus library. Participation is optional. Please discuss your expectations for purchases with your student before their visit to the fair. Scholastic will be sending materials recommended for students in PreK through 5th grade.

If your student purchases a book that does not meet your discussed expectations, please email patricia.pace@cfisd.net before Thursday, February 15, 2024 to exchange or refund the item. Students who have been opted out of library services in the parent portal will not attend the book fair. If you have any questions about the book fair, please contact our campus librarian, and thank you for supporting our library.

Students can purchase Tuesday-Thursday during the school day. Parents are welcome for our late night or early morning options.

Please email your First Day of School pictures to hesmemorybook@gmail.com! Please read the details below! Please ONLY send the requested photo; there will be other opportunities to send more photos! Not all pictures received will be able to make it into the book but we will put as many as we can!!

• Please label your email with Title of Photo and Name of Student
• If you have multiple 5th graders, please send individual emails
• Please check the deadline date for pictures, once the date has passed the picture cannot be added!
• Every 5th Grade student will receive a Memory Book towards the end of the year

Celebrate your birthday with the Hamilton Lions. The Birthday Book Bunch is a great way to celebrate your birthday and reading! The $20 fee includes: new book donated to the library with your child's name plate inside, birthday party in the library (the 9 weeks during their birthday), student's name on the birthday wall. • Each student will receive two (2) photo ID badges at the beginning of the school year at no cost.

• One of the badges will be attached to the student’s backpack to be utilized for bus transportation services

• After September 11th the district will put in place a NO BADGE, NO RIDE.

• The second ID will remain at the campus.

• Store bought lanyards are not permitted.
