Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
We’re sending this message out early because we want to remind you that there is no school tomorrow and Monday. Our staff will spend these in-service days completing quarterly grades and dedicating time to professional development. We’ll see students back in class on Tuesday!
I hope you make time to attend our School Finance Town Hall next week. There are no big surprises on the agenda - just a discussion to educate our community about our district’s finances and how the state of Ohio’s school funding system works. Treasurer John Espy will lead the conversation, and we’ll collect important feedback from people who attend.
Our school district is a big reason why people choose to live and work in Loveland. We were just given an “A” grade from Niche.com and ranked one of the best school districts in Ohio, but we can always get better - and our community plays an important role in keeping the district strong.
Please join us for a School Finance Town Hall on Wednesday, October 16, at 6:30 pm in the Loveland Middle School cafeteria.
If you have questions, you can always reach me at mikebroadwater@lovelandschools.org.
Go Tigers!

Mental Health Awareness Football Game
The Loveland High School Hope Squad and Anderson High School Sources of Strength will host their 3rd annual Mental Health Awareness Football Game at Loveland on Friday, October 25. Local organizations will be there to share important mental health resources with our community.
This game is also Loveland Senior Night. To combine the traditional senior night “Black Out” with the mental health awareness game theme of Light in the Darkness, black mental health awareness t-shirts are available from RP Diamond for spectators and students to wear to the game. Please see the link below to purchase. There are adult and youth sizes. This online store will close on October 17.

IT Career Exploration
Congratulations to LHS students Izzy Christy and Sarah Papsdorf, who attended the Women in IT Conference last week. They spent the day learning about careers in information technology from experts in the field. The day included team challenges and mentorship opportunities. The Women in IT Conference works to grow the pipeline of local talent by bringing together high school students with local industry mentors.
