Brief Message From the Principal

Dear Altoona Elementary Community,

Spring conferences are just around the corner! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 13—a great opportunity to celebrate student growth and achievements. If you have any questions about your scheduled conference time, please reach out to Mrs. Lane in the office—she’ll be happy to assist you.

While you're here, don’t forget to stop by the Scholastic PTA Book Fair in the Library! It’s a fantastic way to find new books and support our school.

A quick reminder: Spring Break is from Friday, March 14, through Sunday, March 23. Classes will resume on Monday, March 24.

As we step into spring, there’s still important learning ahead! Our teachers work hard every day to make the most of instructional time, and we appreciate your support in keeping students engaged and focused. Please continue encouraging your child to do their best and follow our RAMS WAY expectations at school.

Attendance remains a top priority. Some families may have received attendance letters due to updated attendance laws. While we understand that illnesses happen, we encourage students to be present as much as possible—every day in school matters!

Lastly, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for sharing your children with us. It is an absolute privilege to partner with you in their education. Your support and collaboration make our school a place where every student can thrive.
