Dear Upper Campus families,

The GLOBE Academy Upper Campus works diligently to ensure morning carpool is efficient and safe, so that our students can arrive and be ready for learning when school starts at 8:00am.

Some of the steps we have taken to ensure carpool runs smoothly include; directing cars to form two lines around the main parking lot so that traffic does not get backed up on Briarcliff Road; staffing two drop-off lanes by the gym, and having a traffic support person to allow vehicles to exit carpool safely and smoothly.

In order for us to safely run morning carpool, we ask parents/guardians to do their part by planning to arrive as early as possible (drop off starts at 7:30am). Prepare your child(ren) for a quick exit from your vehicle at the carpool drop-off zone, and follow directions from staff. GLOBE's number one priority is safety. For this reason, GLOBE does not allow children to exit their vehicle while still in the carpool line (ahead of the drop-off zone).

If you arrive at the carpool entrance at or around 7:55am, it is advisable to park your vehicle in the main parking lot. Your student(s) can then walk around the front of the building and check in at the Walker Door.

Promptly at 8:00am, the carpool (and Walker Door) will close. Any vehicles still in the carpool line must then park, and an adult must accompany their child(ren) to the Front Office. Teachers are taking attendance and any students who enter the building after 8:00am are marked tardy.
