Dear Millbridge Families,

Happy February! We have an exciting month ahead filled with learning, celebrations, and special events. Here are some important dates and reminders to keep in mind:

Black History Month – Throughout February, we will be engaging students in activities and lessons that honor the achievements and contributions of Black leaders in history.

100th Day of School (Feb. 13) - Classrooms may have celebrations, check with your child's teacher for details.

Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) – Classrooms may have small celebrations on a different day as the students are not here on the 14th. Please check with your child’s teacher for details.

Presidents' Day (Feb. 17) – No school in observance of the holiday.

Special Person's Dance (Feb. 7) - PTO sponsored event from 7:00-8:30.

We have a lot of illnesses going around. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. Please remember, with a fever or diarrhea they must be free of it for 24 hours without medication. Today Millbridge staff and students engaged in a fun pep rally after a week of spirit wear. We showed a ton of spirit for the Delran HS cheerleaders and our special eagle. The students had fun dancing and celebrating while cheering on the Eagles. GO BIRDS!

Please make sure chromebooks are being charged over the weekend.

Individual Classes will have different activities to celebrate the holiday even though there is NOT school for students on February 14th. Students ARE permitted to bring in Valentine Cards for their classmates. Food/candy items NOT on the Approved Millbridge Snack List, will not be permitted. Please consider non-food items if you intend to make goodie bags for your child's classmates, please send in ONLY items identified on the approved snack list. We appreciate your attention to this policy. Please continue to have open communication with your child's teacher about the plan for the day.

The Delran STEM Ecosystem Alliance will be hosting a STEM engagement night for multilingual families the evening of Monday, February 10th, with translators present, in the Delran Innovation & Fabrication Lab. Invitations to the families will be sent through the ESL teachers, to the students and families, next week.

Para famílias portuguesas (For Portuguese Families): A Delran STEM Ecosystem Alliance realizará uma noite de engajamento STEM para famílias multilíngues na noite de segunda-feira, 10 de fevereiro, com tradutores presentes, no Delran Innovation & Fabrication Lab. Os convites às famílias serão enviados através dos professores de ESL, aos alunos e famílias, na próxima semana.

Türk Aileler İçin (For Turkish Families): Delran STEM Ekosistemi İttifakı, 10 Şubat Pazartesi akşamı Delran İnovasyon ve Fabrikasyon Laboratuvarı'nda çevirmenlerin de hazır bulunduğu çok dilli aileler için bir STEM katılım gecesine ev sahipliği yapacak. Ailelere davetiyeler gelecek hafta ESL öğretmenleri aracılığıyla öğrencilere ve ailelere gönderilecek.
