HELLO Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School Families!
It is with great excitement that we officially welcome you to the 2016-17 school year! Although we still have 4 weeks of COOL summer camp fun, we are very busy preparing for the upcoming school year. Please read over the following important tips to help you prepare for the first days of school.
Meet, Greet, & a MOVIE Treat: Thursday, August 25th
GREET our new Chesterbrook Mascot! Chase will be on hand to kick off the new school year!
TREAT: purchase dinner from our on site food truck and follow it up with an ice cream dessert on PTAC!
OUT-Door Prizes! Popcorn! And fun for the WHOLE FAMILY!
Helpful hint!! ~ Bring your own chairs or blanket to enjoy the outdoor Movie under the stars!
Oh, the details....
For those who know our parking situation, the shuttle bus will be running for this evening. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ALONG HOLLOW ROAD!!!! For those that don't, please refer to the information below for the parking location and shuttle transport timing for the WELCOME event from 5.45pm - 8:45pm.
• WHERE: Parking will be at 200 Schell Lane Phoenixville PA 19460.
• HOW: Please pull your car to the front of the school and get your parking directions. Proceed to the Schell Lane parking Area. (Directions: Go past the school and make the first left onto Schell Lane then make an IMMEDIATE left into the Acrodyne parking area.) The school buses will be parked there as a landmark.
• WHEN: Our school bus will be there to transport you back to school in time for the event. The bus will begin to shuttle at 5.45pm in 5 minute increments. The bus will return parents to their cars at Schell Lane after the event beginning at 8.30pm.

- August 5th - All packet forms and fees are due
- August 8th - 12th: FINAL UNIFORM EXCHANGE!
- August 25th - Welcome Back Event 6.pm
- FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: MONDAY AUGUST 29TH
- All buses/vans will begin on Monday, August 29th!
- NOTE: There is NO Before OR Aftercare on this first day of School
- P.T.A.C. Woo-Hoo Back-to-School PARENT Breakfast begins at 8.45am on the first day of School. All parents are invited to join this P.T.A.C introductory meeting in the gymnasium.
- The car line and Before/After care begin Tuesday, August 30th.
- School is CLOSED Monday, Sept. 5th for the Labor Day Holiday!
- Hot lunch and clubs do not begin until Tuesday, September 6th! (Every student must pack their lunch the first week of school!
- Back to School Night is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Please note the schedule below
6.00 - 6.45pm: Junior Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th and 5th
6.45 - 7.30pm: Kindergarten
7.30 - 8.15 pm: 1st and 2nd Grades
- GRANDPARENTS DAY BINGO AND TEA - (and Senior Representatives!) Friday, September 30th @2pm
