Broad Run High School's Newsletter for April, 2021
From the Principal:
BRHS Families,
The 4th quarter is under way, and we have started with our 4 days/week hybrid. All is going well. Reminder to everyone, especially our student attending daily, that we need for you to fill our the COVID Symptom Checker every day you come to Broad Run. It can be found on the school web site.
Students and parents for grades 9-11 (10-12 next year), please check your course requests in StudentVue/ParentVue to make sure they are accurate. Changes will be very difficult and may not be accommodated after June 1.
Seniors, be sure to check the class of 2021 site on the BRHS web site (and in the link in this newsletter) for frequent updates. I am glad to say that we will have an in-person graduation on Thursday June 10 at 7 p.m. Time could be adjusted due to weather, so reserve the entire day. Senior must be at school and lined up at 6 pm. Gates open for guests (5 per senior) at 6 p.m.
As we begin to plan for next year and 5 days a week of in-person instruction, I want to acknowledge the work of our faculty and staff. They have been asked to adjust, just like all of you, tremendously this year. I am most impressed with the manner in which they have come together and supported each other with collaborative ideas and resources.
Thank you,
Mr. Spage
