Superintendent's Student Advisory Council Presents Belonging Reccomendations
Thank you to our Naperville 203 students who served on the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. Through open dialogue and the sharing of multiple perspectives around student belonging in Naperville 203, the student council amplified and mobilized student voices toward the development of action steps to further enhance the student experience.
New Principals Hired For Kingsley, Steeple Run
Traci Furbee was approved as the next principal at Kingsley, while Dawn Malatia was hired as Steeple Run’s next principal. Both currently serve in similar positions as supervisors of special education and student services coordinators – roles that closely mirror the role of an assistant principal.
New Important Summer Learning Information And Summer Learning Reminders
Registration for all 1st semester summer learning classes (beginning on June 5) closes on Friday, May 19th at 4 p.m. Registration for all summer learning 2nd semester classes (beginning on June 26) closes on Thursday, June 15th at 4 p.m.

Student Mental Health Support Survey
Please use the survey link below to share your level of awareness and comfort with Naperville 203’s mental health supports. The Naperville 203 Student Services team will use these survey results to ensure and improve mental health supports in place for students throughout the school district. The survey will remain open until 4 p.m. on Friday, May 26.
This, and all, Google Forms can be translated using the following steps:
- Click on the link for the form.
- Right click anywhere on the form and several options will appear.
- Click on “Translate” or “Translate to.” Another box will appear in the upper right corner.
- If the language you want to translate to does not appear, click on the three vertical dots and select “Choose another language.”
- Click on the drop-down menu, choose the desired language and click the “translate” button.
- Proceed with completing the form.
High School Graduations Set For Sunday, May 21
Naperville Central's graduation will begin at 2 p.m., while Naperville North's ceremony begins at 4 p.m. Both ceremonies will be held at the high schools.
Steeple Run Used Instrument Sale
Instrument Sale: May 24, 6:30-8 p.m.
Seller Sign Up: May 23, 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Used band and orchestra instruments for sale! Naperville 203 music directors will be available to help with selections. Numbers will be handed out starting at 6 p.m. For more information contact Cecilia Fox at ceciliamfox@gmail.com.
Naperville Education Foundation Student Ambassadors Needed!
Interested in being a liaison/voice between NEF and your high school, developing your leadership skills, and having an opportunity to give back to the Naperville 203 community? The Naperville Education Foundation seeks two student ambassadors, one from NCHS and one from NNHS, to serve as non-voting members of the 2023-24 NEF Board of Trustees. NPD Accepting Applications For Youth Academy
The Naperville Police Department is now accepting applications for a 6-week summer Youth Academy, a series of classes and demos for high schoolers interested in police patrol operations, police canines, police investigations, forensics and more.
'From The Kitchen' Series Wins Communication Award
Aramark's weekly "From the Kitchen" video and newsletter submission recently received a communication award from the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (INSPRA). Thank you to Aramark for offering Naperville 203 families a look inside the kitchen each week!
