School Supplies Info
Elementary Students:
Supplies are provided for our onsite classes and workshops. Students may opt to bring a non-breakable water bottle with them to class that has a sealed lid. Students will also need to wear their HomeLink Student ID on their lanyard. Some teachers and coaches may also ask for items from home occasionally to help enhance their learning experience in class.
Secondary Students:
Have your student check their course syllabus on Canvas for supply needs.
Lunch at HomeLink and Lynx
Please remember to have your child bring their student ID cards to lunch.
Account Balances
Each student registered in the Richland School District has a lunch account. The balance is at zero until money is added to it. Money can be added to each account three ways: online by setting up an account with the students ID number at Mymealtime.com, by check or cash brought to school. If paying by cash with larger amounts the remainder will be deposited to the students account.
Free and Reduced Lunches
The 2024-25 application for free or reduced-price meals is now available online. To apply, go to mymealtime.com/apps. You will need your student's 8-digit ID number for the online application.
Last year's applications are expired as of October. If your student received free or reduced-price meals last year, you need to submit a new application. The form can also be found online at RSD.edu under the Nutrition Services tab.
Family Accounts
We can now combine students onto one family account. Please email Crystal.Gjerdevig@rsd.edu if you would like them combined.

Welcome New Staff!!
Hello! My name is Lori Porter and I am so excited to be a part of HomeLink and the private piano lessons! I have spent a lot of time over the years coaching, encouraging and teaching children to play the piano and I hope you will feel my excitement for developing this talent. My family and I have lived in the Tri-cities for 19 years and I have 5 children and two grandchildren. We love to paddle board, run, be with friends, and play games in our backyard and at the kitchen table. My youngest daughter and I have been a part of the HomeLink community and really loved it. I will do all I can to add to the amazing learning environment of HomeLink!
Nichole Castle-New Workshop Coach
Hello, My name is Nichole Castle, I will be teaching The Real Game of Life and Healthy Habits classes. My family has been a part of Homelink for 9 years. All three of my children attend Homelink, they are 8th grade, 6th grade, and 1st grade. I love the opportunities Homelink provides for all the students that attend. I'm so excited to start teaching classes this year. I love to encourage and teach healthy habits. I will also be teaching the ins and outs of living life. The board game Life is my inspiration for this class.
Maggie Harpe-New Workshop Coach
Hi HomeLink families, my name is Maggie Harpe! This is my first year teaching at HomeLink, but my children have been part of this school for over seven years so you may have seen me around. I love homeschooling (even though it is NOT easy), traveling with my family (especially to Disney), and baking (anything sweet). I am so excited to be teaching History Time Travelers and Animal Architects this semester where your children will learn about ancient history and/or the animal builders of the world! I have always loved working with children and I'm so glad to get to have the opportunity to do it with these amazing HomeLink kids at this school that feels like home!
Yoonhee Santosa-New Private Lesson Piano Coach
Hello, Homelink Family! My name is Yoonhee Santosa, and I’m excited to be teaching piano this year. As a homeschooling mom of three, I bring a deep passion for learning and music into my teaching. Being Korean, I deeply value cultural diversity and love sharing it through music. I enjoy creating a collaborative environment where children can grow and learn together. Outside of teaching, I love camping and exploring history with my family. I’m thrilled to join Homelink and look forward to making music with the students!
Brianna Rawlings-New Workshop Coach
Hi, I'm Brianna Rawlings and I get to be the Graphic Design and Book Author/Illustrator instructor this year. This is my first year as a workshop coach at Three Rivers Homelink and I am so excited to share it with you! We are going to have a blast exploring digital media and creating awesome stories together. When I'm not teaching, I can usually be found in my garden, making art, playing video games, or reading.
Crystal Gjerdevig-New Workshop Coach
My name is Crystal Gjerdevig. Some of you may know me as the "lunch lady." I have been a part of the HomeLink family for four years.
I have two awesome daughters, thirteen and ten. They both love sports. One of my favorite things to do is travel around and cheer them on playing Volleyball and Soccer.
While you will still find me in the kitchen - I will also be teaching cheer! I was a cheerleader for the Richland Bombers and spent a little time coaching the Jr. Bombers cheer program.
I am excited for this opportunity and ready to have some fun!
Maisha (Meshe) Medina- New 7-12 Counselor
My name is Meshe Medina, and I am excited to join the HL family as a 7-12 school counselor. I bring diverse professional experience to this role, and I am deeply committed to supporting our students. I have worked with the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in Central California, a national non-profit organization that provides mentorship and a voice in court for children in foster care. I have also taught high school English in California and the greater Seattle area and served as a substitute teacher in Richland and Kennewick School Districts. My journey also includes being a paraeducator at River’s Edge High School and interning as a school counselor at Tapteal Elementary and Enterprise Middle School in the Richland School District. For the past six months, I have been a Student Assistance Professional (SAP) at Enterprise, where I facilitated skill-building groups, individualized skill-building sessions, substance use prevention curriculum, classroom presentations on prevention topics, and organized schoolwide activities such as kindness, mental health awareness, and drug and alcohol awareness.
On a personal note, I am celebrating my 19th wedding anniversary soon. My husband Gabe and I are proud parents of three active children: Isaiah, our football player and wrestler; Taylor, our thespian; and Elliette, our competitive gymnast and soccer player. Like many of you, we spend our days shuttling them to their various extracurricular activities.
