Bonlee's Vision: As a school built upon a solid foundation of community support, professional expertise and STUDENT AGENCY, Bonlee School will produce students
whose levels of 21st-century skills are unmatched.
From your PROUD principal...
WELL DONE BONLEE FAMILIES! We have raised almost $5,000 online and that doesn't include catalog orders that will be turned in this week! Thank you for making our fundraiser a success!
IMPORTANT: Students need to turn in their envelopes by Tuesday, March 26. This will ensure we have ample time, before Spring Break, to confirm orders and count the money. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU TOTAL THE ORDER FORM AND WRITE THE AMOUNT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE.
Additionally, ensure that your student's name and teacher are written on the outside flap of the envelope. See pics below.
Do not keep the white or yellow copies of order forms. The school will keep one and send one in to the company. When the ordered items arrive on April 19, there will be an order form in your student's box so you know who ordered what items.
You could also take a picture of the order form for your records, if desired.
Children Child Safety Matters Program Parent Information
Our 6th-8th grade students will be participating in the Monique Burr Foundation for Children Child Safety Matters® Program. Anne Chapman, Program Manager for the Chatham County Child Advocacy Program, and her colleague, Kelli Rosenmarkle, will teach the program in each classroom for 2 lessons. The goal of the Program is to help keep your child safe. The Program empowers children to spot and respond to bullying, cyberbullying, child abuse, and digital dangers in additioni to promoting healthy relationships and communication skills. Most importantly, it teaches that adults are responsible for their safety but there are things they can do to help adults keep them safe. The Program is based on the latest research and has been reviewed and endorsed by national experts.
These lessons are scheduled to take place after spring break - end of April into early May. If your student is in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade your student will bring home a permission form in the coming weeks for participation in the program.
If you do NOT wish for your student to participate, please sign and send the form back to school.
If you have questions about the program you can contact Anne Chapman at 919-214-1724.
