Volunteers:
Due to the event schedule we understand that you may or may not want to arrive prior and/or stay past your child's time frame. Please check the Sign-Up Genius for available slots! IMPORTANT; 5TH GRADE YEARBOOK PHOTOS NEEDED ๐ธ
The 5th Grade Yearbook Committee has started to collect photographs of all 5th grade students. We are asking each family to provide:
- 1 Baby photo
- 5-10 candid photos from K-5th years from school events or activities. Can include other 5th grade Birch students (no others in photos)
- Kindergarten photo if your child did not attend Birch in Kindergarten
- No birthday party photos
- Send in HIGH RESOLUTION if sending from iphone/mobile phone
- IDENTIFY ALL CHILDREN IN PHOTOS, event and year when sending
- Please submit your pictures by Friday, January 17, 2025.
The pictures should identify, in the photo title, your child shown in the photo and when and where it was taken. All photos (LABELED WITH STUDENT'S NAMES/year/event) can be emailed to the following email account set up for your childโs class:
- Murzycki: murzyckiclass25@gmail.com
- Valente: valenteclass25@gmail.com
- Slater: slaterclass25@gmail.com
- Cronin: croninclass25@gmail.com
We understand that not all photos will be in digital format and that not all families have access to a scanner. If you would like to submit photos that are not in digital format, please send them in to school with your childโs teacher name and your name on the envelope. These photos will have to be collected by each teacher and a volunteer will pick them up from each teacher.
Lastly, if you are someone that has taken pictures throughout your childโs school years on field trips, school events, etc, we would love to include your pictures in the yearbook. Please email the files to kristinsimmons2011@gmail.com and label the email with the event and year. For instance, if you chaperoned your childโs field trip or took photos during the Trunk or Treat or Field Day each year, we would love to include your photos.
Although this request seems to come early in the school year, the process to produce the yearbook is time consuming and needs to be completed early in order to meet the deadline.
If you have any questions about the photos or the process, please do not hesitate to reach out to Kristin Simmons kristinsimmons2011@gmail.com or Nicole Morinon nicole.morinon@gmail.com.
