Principal's Corner

Dear Whitson Families,

Whitson Elementary School is an outstanding school for many reasons. One example of excellence, which makes Whitson so great, is our percentage of parent participation in conferences. Our school wide parent teacher conference attendance rate is almost always at or above 95 percent! Parental involvement is a crucial component to student success. High rates of involvement do not occur by accident. It takes tremendous commitment by all parties, and it is definitely something to celebrate.

I always move my office out to the front hallway during conference time, please be sure to stop by and say hello. See you then.

Fire Lanes

Whitson Elementary families, for the safety of all students, staff, and visitors, we kindly remind everyone that parking in fire lanes in front of the school is strictly prohibited. These lanes must remain clear at all times for emergency vehicles.

Please use designated parking areas when dropping off or picking up your child. This ensures a smooth traffic flow and helps us maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Together, we can prioritize safety for our school community.

Cold & Wet Weather

Remember cold weather is upon us, please send your student to school, with hat, gloves, boots and coat. We will be going outside.

Also sending an extra change of clothes in their backpack would be appreciated,
