Principal's Moment
This is our final newsletter for the 2023-2024 school year. It is hard to believe that we are wrapping up this great school year. This upcoming week is filled with a ton of fun activities. On Monday, we will have our First Responders Day! This is an exciting opportunity to connect with the people in our community who work to keep us safe. We will have a fire truck, ambulance, SWAT, K-9, Larimer Emergency Services, and the UC Health Helicopter. On Tuesday we will have our talent show from 1:30-3:00, on Thursday we have our Senior Walk from 9:30-10:00, and on Friday we have our 5th Grade Farewell from 9:00-10:00, followed by Early Dismissal for all grades at 11:10.
I want thank you for your collaboration with and support of Lincoln! I look forward to seeing you all in August!
As a reminder, please take the time to complete the Free and Reduced lunch form linked here. Completion of this form helps to determine if our school qualifies for additional funding. Title One funding is used to support small class sizes, field trips, after school activities, and professional development for teachers. While the form says Free and Reduced lunch, people who qualify, will also have their school fees waived. If you would like to know more about what it means to have a Title One identification, please see the presentation attached here.

Fundraiser
The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. Every community is unique, but our common goal is to partner with the neighborhoods we serve and help the people there live healthier lives.
One of the ways in which we do this is through our King Soopers Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your Shopper’s Card.
Here’s how it works:
1. Create a digital account.
A digital account is needed to participate in King Soopers Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.
2. Link your Card to an organization.
Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the King Soopers Community Rewards selection on your digital account.
- Sign in to your digital account.
- Search for your organization under community rewards-Lincoln Elementary School
- Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.
Your selected organization will also display in the King Soopers Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.
3. Your organization earns.
Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. King Soopers donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating King Soopers Community Rewards organizations.
Please reach out with any questions! Happy Shopping!

Nutrition
The new Healthy School Meals for All program begins in August for the 23-24 school year. The HSMA program provides FREE meals for ALL students regardless of income
Do families need to fill out the free and reduced meal benefits form?
YES! Those who qualify may receive discounted or waived school fees, utilities support and more. Click on the "share information" for the school to be able to waive these fees automatically.
WHY should I fill out a meal benefits form?
The HSMA program is funded in partnership with federal nutrition programs that rely on that income information to support meals for ALL students. Other state and federal grants for school are awarded based on free and reduced meal eligibility rates - this could mean more money for your school!
Can my student still bring lunch from home?
YES! Students are welcome to bring lunch.
