Bobcat Bulletin
10/28/24
Beech Street School believes in the power of a growth mindset. We are committed to our education, and we demonstrate resilience by persevering through our mistakes. With an optimistic outlook and consistent effort, we understand that with practice, we can overcome challenges. We take responsibility for our actions and learning, and treat one another with respect, to foster a caring and safe environment for all. As a community, we take pride in being Bobcat PROUD together!
Halloween Thursday 10/31/24
On Thursday, students are allowed to wear their costumes to school, but please do not bring any masks or props since we want to ensure the safety of all students and prevent any loss of costume items before trick-or-treating at night. Students are not allowed to wear fake blood as part of their school costume.
Our teachers have planned some Fall activities for the day, but we will not have any classroom parties. Please do not send any food items to be shared with the class, as the Manchester School District has a strict wellness policy that prohibits food in classrooms due to allergies and other dietary restrictions. This policy also applies to food sent to the school building on birthdays. If you would like to send something to a classroom for any celebration, it would be appropriate to send a non-food treat.
On Friday, after the trick-or-treating fun, your child can bring in two snack-size pieces of candy for their snack. However, please also send along a healthier snack option to go with it. Starting Monday, our regular snack policy will be back in effect, so please refrain from sending candy to school.
Popcorn is back!
