Hello HHES Families,

Our second graders put on an amazing show Thursday night! Blame it on the Groundhog was a wonderful compilation of speaking parts, solos, and singing. A huge thank you to Mrs. Ramirez for arranging a wonderful concert for everyone to enjoy.

Report cards were sent home with students on Tuesday. If you did not receive one, please let us know.

We have volleyball, Pokemon, cross stitching, and car repair & safety clubs starting on Tuesday. If you registered your child, you should have received an email today confirming registration. Please check your inboxes.

We are thrilled to announce that we had a volunteer sign up for a Lego Club! We will be sending out a sign-up for that club in March. This club will start after spring break and will be catered for students K-2.

As you know, we are in the midst of the cold/flu season. We have seen a rise in absentees and just want to remind everyone that even though some are testing negative for Covid, there are still other things going around. Please remember to keep your student home if they have a fever, diarrhea and/or vomiting. These symptoms need to be gone for 24 hours without medication before returning to school. We know coughs and sniffles can hang on sometimes, we just ask that your students' symptoms are improving and they feel well enough to be here.

Hockinson Middle School Band is hosting a fundraiser pancake breakfast at Applebee's on Saturday, March 11, from 8AM - 10AM!

Tickets are $12 per person.

Each breakfast consists of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, milk, juice, and soft drinks.
