Welcome to Park Brook Elementary

A note from the principal
Dear Park Brook Families,
As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday, I simply want to stop and share how thankful I am to be the principal of Park Brook Elementary. This is my 17th year here at Park Brook, and so thankful to work with the students, families and staff. With my thankfulness, I also feel a tremendous obligation to each student that they must receive a quality education, with many opportunities, to be prepared for their journey, and their dreams for the future.
Park Brook offers a number of additional activities for students, which is only possible because of the staff members who are willing to give of themselves in addition to the regular school day. I am so thankful to have a staff who is willing to give in this way.
Thankful,
Mr. Scott W. Taylor
Principal

Veterans Day and Navajo Code Talkers
On Veterans Day, students learned about Veterans Day and the Navajo Code Talkers. The purpose was to honor all veterans who have served the United States of America. As this is Native American Heritage Month, the contributions of the Navajo People who served during World War II were honored during this time.
Please click on the buttons below to see the two videos that students in Kindergarten - 5th grade watched during the assembly.

Tuesday, December 10, 2024
More information will be coming soon!
Hmong Students are welcome to wear their Hmong Clothing this day. Students will have a place to spend recess so that their clothes do not get dirty during recess.
Lost & Found
Please label your child's belongings. Lost & Found is usually overflowing with items that are not labeled with student names. If an item is labeled, we do not place it in Lost & Found, but rather return it to the student.
Several times a year unclaimed items are donated to a local charity.
