FRIDAY, November 22, 2024
Message from Mrs. Seiss
Dear Westchester Middle School Families,
What an incredible week we've had at Westchester Middle School! I am so proud of our students and staff for their dedication and achievements. Thanks to your generous support, the WMS Student Council was able to donate over 500 items to the Westchester Food Bank. Your kindness is making a real difference in our community.
A huge shoutout to our Drama Club and their sponsors, Mr. Morris and Ms. Jones, for delivering a spectacular debut performance of "The Mouse That Roared." It was a fantastic display of talent and teamwork, and we're excited to see what’s next for our drama program.
Congratulations to our 7th-grade boys' basketball team for winning their first tournament of the season and bringing home the trophy! Way to go, Trojans—your hard work and determination paid off! Kudos also to our Robotics Team on their success at their recent competition. We wish them the best of luck as they prepare for the next challenge in Portage!
Lastly, a quick reminder that there will be no school from Wednesday, November 27, through Friday, November 29, for Thanksgiving Break. We hope you enjoy a restful and joyful holiday with your loved ones.
Thank you for being such an integral part of our WMS family. Here’s to another great week ahead!
Respectfully,
Mrs. Lauren Seiss, WMS Principal
